The NFL has suspended Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Aqib Talib for one game for violating the league's personal-conduct policy.

Talib was arrested last year after a cab driver alleged that Talib hit him. Talib got into a diversion program that involved anger management classes.

He will lose the first game of the season without pay with the Buccaneers host the Cleveland Browns.

A first-round pick in 2008, Talib is seen as a promising talent whom fellow Bucs CB Ronde Barber said is probably to break his team record for interceptions.
